Evaluation
For the evaluation I will be putting the final evaluation at the bottom of this page and will be evaluating everything else first.
Copyright Issues
During the production/ editing stage of this project I had a serious copyright issue. This came from using a song from the band known as 'The Beatles'. During the advert section of my video there was originally three adverts that played. The coca-cola one, The Batman one and there was a Beatles one. This advert had two Beatles songs playing but the twitst was they was german.
These two songs caused the original video to be blocked for anyone to watch! This is what it looks like when you want to watch the original video.
As you can see it says 'video not available'. This isnt a image of what pops up by the way. This is the actual video. Even when the video is unlisted it still cant be watched anywhere by anyone.
Recording
Recording this News video was pretty quick and simple. I think I recorded it effectively and to a decent standard. The recording took around 1-2 hours to do and there was quite a lot of outtakes. I did not do these recordings alone I asked one of my classmates to help me record (he deos not show up in the video). The area that I recorded all in the same place.
This is the exact location that I used to record. It is only a small desk and a green screen behind it, Its not much but did the job.
Editing
The editing for this project was straight forward and simple. All that I had to do was put the clips together and sync up the audios. I also had to green screen and add overlay clips but I like it. Sometimes simple things is good. Not everything good is complex (just makes you look 'cooler')
This is the timeline for my video. I think it looks more complicated then it has to be. Everything in them clips above are meant to be there and add to the video. The editing took about 7 hours to do and when I started it was around 7pm and when I finnished the time was close to 1:30am. I decided to stay up late to do this because I would have forgot about it the next day.
This is the timeline for a extra bit that I made for the video. This one in particular is the intro for the actual news report. What I did for this was take the other intro I made and stole the music (which I created myself) to add to my own video (A1 on the timline image is the song!). This was not the only video in which I made to go inside the news video. The other was the batman trailer in german. no I did not add the german audio but I did make it shorter to be known as something called a TV spot (trailers for tv). This can be found in the advert section in the news report video.

Final Evaluation
This project went really fast and I think I made something acceptable for that amount of time given. I did plan everything a bit fast and got the recording pretty quickly. I am still happy with the outcome of what I produced though. I think If I had more time to record I would have added more smaller things to the video to give it more realism but I am still happy with what Ive got. The phases that this project went through where all done to a satifactory standard.
